Family Health Center’s annual Back To School Bash is back, helping local kids get ready for school in a fun way while making sure their immunizations and dental screenings are up to date.
Back to School Bash (B2SB) 2026 did NOT disappoint!!
With our new location & our new partners — The Kalamazoo Promise, WMU, Kalamazoo Public Schools & KVCC — it was bigger, more inclusive & more effective than ever!
Together, we were able to reach and provide wellness checks & educational resources for more of our community — all thanks to our Family Health Center (FHC) Providers, community volunteers, vendors, sponsors and partners. In the weeks leading up to B2SB as well as during the event, FHC provided the following to our beloved community:
Wellness Checks: 1500+
Vaccinations: 2500+
Dental Sealants: 500+
Student Backpacks: 1400+
Hygiene Kits: 1100+
Haircare Kits: 1400+
Countless lives were changed for the better as we had over 2,500 people attend! Through the hard work and dedication of community members just like you, we have heard so many stories of impact, connection & community love.
