Our Leadership

Ms. Crawford has expanded facilities in critical neighborhoods to accommodate an additional 20,000 patients over the past 13 years. She has also created dedicated facilities for dental and behavioral health services, launched physical and occupational therapy services, and helped make specialty care delivery like psychiatry, physical therapy and occupational therapy easier for patients to access. Some of her other achievements include acquiring mobile and mobile dental units to expand care for students and family members in the public school system and completing a $15 million facility expansion in one of Kalamazoo’s most historically underserved neighborhoods.

At the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Ms. Crawford quickly developed and expanded FHC’s telehealth remote patient monitoring to accommodate over 128,000 telehealth visits. She also responded swiftly and proactively to provide more than 125,000 curbside prescription pick-ups and over 500 unique testing and vaccination events. As a result of these services, more than 30,000 COVID-19 vaccines were administered to people who may not have otherwise had access.

Ms. Crawford remains committed to using her extensive expertise to improve access to quality healthcare for everyone in the community. Currently, she leads a team of over 250 colleagues who serve more than 45,000 patients annually.

Prior to joining FHC, Ms. Crawford served as Director of Physician Services and Ambulatory Care, Director of Strategy and Corporate Services, Director of Borgess Family Medicine and Vice President of Ambulatory Behavioral Medicine Services for Ascension Borgess Health Alliance.

Ms. Crawford graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts in science and a Master of Social Work before receiving a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. She is a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo and a proud patient of FHC. She understands the complex issues people may be facing and serves the community by offering wisdom, compassion, dignity and respect.
